Ten Commandments in End Times Bible Prophecy
Did you know that God's law, the ten commandments are also mentioned in end time Bible prophecy and has a major role to play in end time events? Many Christians fail to realise that God's law is a central figure in the book of Revelation, dealing with the end times, and they also fail to realise that the mark of the beast is connected to the ten commandments.
Revelation 12:17 ...'And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, AND have the testimony of Jesus Christ.'
As you can see, it is those who are keeping God's commandments who Satan is angry with and "makes war" with them. Why isn't Satan angry and making war with professing Christians who don't keep God's law? Because if you are not keeping God's law, then you are living in sin, because as John said ... 'for sin is the transgression of the law' (1 John 3:4) ... So if you believe that Jesus did away with the ten commandments and you need not keep them anymore, then Satan is pleased and will not be angry with you.
Now as we have stated before in this site, we are not saved by keeping the law of God. We are saved by grace which is a free gift. But anyone who has accepted that gift should WANT to keep God's law and obey the one who saved us. As you will see from the end time Bible verse above, it is not JUST keeping the ten commandments that causes Satan to be angry with us. It is also having the testimony of Christ Jesus. What is the "testimony" of Jesus?
Revelation 19:10 ...'And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.'
So God's remnant people, the one's who Satan is angry with and making war with, are those who are keeping God's commandments and have the "spirit of prophecy". In other words, they have a special understanding of Bible prophecy that the majority of other professing Christians don't have.
